I would just like to let you know, I think the new web page has just a bit much too much blue. It kind of jumps out at you. If it could be just toned down a bit. Thanks, just wanted to put my input.

Dear Linda,

I do hope that you're having a wonderful day Linda and that our Lord is blessing you and your family. I wish to thank you for writing and for the input. I guess if a person doesn't like the blue colors, this page for sure won't be one of their favorites. (smile) I'll try and explain why so much blue. I could have used shades of green, beige, reds with pink, black with light grey or pink, of brown with light yellow, or the traditional white background with black letters ((which most websites use and of coarse they are mostly white instead of another color))...

But I sorta like blue and it matched the logo of My Dot Spot and so I made it the theme of the page (color wise that is)... I hope to be adding more great links as time goes by and make it the starting point to finding the more popular interest sites on the web for all to enjoy... And this is to be my goal and I hope members of My Dot Spot will write and let me know their interest of perhaps a favorite website address and I'll try and put them on here. I do look at every link I place to insure the integrity of the member’s page...

And now the reason for so much use of the color blue. I am on this computer most days 10 to 15 hours and I have cataracts now forming on my eyes and as I stated most sites use all white and after a few moments my eyes burn and get more blurry. I've found that using shades of colors as on the pages I build and the  member’s page is easier on the eyes and doesn't hurt your eyes as quickly... With that theory in mind, I've tried to make is as easy on the eyes of our members as possible. Hence the different shades of blue make it easier to view... A little rhyme there... (smile) Also Steve has made a more traditional and simpler members page and placed a choice to view which one is better for our members own personal taste. Steve only allowed me to place this bluer page as an alternative and as a more home like personal feel. I hope this has explained this member’s page.

And so Linda, if you would like to make a sample members page of the toned down colors you've mentioned, I'd be more than happy to look at it and perhaps alter and change the now look of my version of this page... I never mind looking at new talent and ideas in the web page building department... If you come up with something which I feel will work better, then with your permission, I'll change the page and make sure and give you credit for your talent and input. Again, thank you for your input. It has been nice to meet you and I hope you have a wonderful day...

Sincerely,

Jim
