Let Me Introduce you
to Jesus!

Someone once
said, that if you meet me and forget me you have lost nothing but IF you
meet Jesus and you forget Him you have lost everything!
With that being said; Let
us pursue finding out more about this man called Jesus. I'll be using the
King James Version of the Holy Bible as my reference. Perhaps after
reading and discussing we shall be able to resolve this age old
question... Was this Jesus just a man or was He truly 'God's only son'
come down from Heaven in the form of flesh?
John
Chapter10; verses 22, 30
[22] And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the
dedication, and it was winter.
[23] And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.
[24] Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost
thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
[25] Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that
I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
[26] But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto
you.
[27] My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
[28] And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish,
neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
[29] My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is
able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
[30] I and my Father are one.
Ok! Jesus and God are one according to the Bible, God's Holy Word. But
what about eternal life for His sheep (His children) and how do I obtain
this?
John Chapter 3; verses 1, 17
[1] There was a man of the Pharisees, named
Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
[2] The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know
that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles
that thou doest, except God be with him.
[3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
[4] Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he
enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
[5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born
of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
[6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of
the Spirit is spirit.
[7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
[8] The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one
that is born of the Spirit.
[9] Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
[10] Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and
knowest not these things?
[11] Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and
testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
[12] If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye
believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
[13] And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from
heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
[14] And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must
the Son of man be lifted up:
[15] That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal
life.
[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
[17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but
that the world through him might be saved.
All right, I understand that in order to become one of God's sheep
(a child of God), I must be born again as stated in verse [7] and I can
see that I must believe in Jesus. Is that all there is to it?
NO! For even Satan, the Devil himself believes in God and in His Son,
Jesus Christ. There is something Satan will not do. And this is the very
same thing that the unsaved or lost person will not do. They will refuse
to Admit to being a sinner and they will not Repent of their Sin.
You may not even realize that you are a sinner. You may be a pretty good
person and have many great qualities. Yes sir, you are absolutely right,
I'm not so bad, so why should I repent and from what?
Well, I guess that before you can become saved you must first realize that
you are lost.
Let's see what God has to say about this.
Romans 3; 10, 23
[10] As it is written, There is none righteous, no,
not one:
[11] There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after
God.
[12] They are all gone out of the way, they are together become
unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
[13] Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used
deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
[14] Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
[15] Their feet are swift to shed blood:
[16] Destruction and misery are in their ways:
[17] And the way of peace have they not known:
[18] There is no fear of God before their eyes.
[19] Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them
who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world
may become guilty before God.
[20] Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall
no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of
sin.
[21] But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being
witnessed by the law and the prophets;
[22] Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto
all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
[23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 5; 12
[12] Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the
world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all
have sinned:
Romans 5; 8, 9
[8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that,
while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
[9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved
from wrath through him.
Romans 6; 23
[23] For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of
God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Matthew 9; 13
[13] But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will
have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous,
but sinners to repentance.
Acts 3; 19, 21
[19] Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that
your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from
the presence of the Lord;
[20] And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
[21] Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all
things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since
the world began.
Romans 10; 9, 13
[9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the
Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from
the dead, thou shalt be saved.
[10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the
mouth confession is made unto salvation.
[11] For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be
ashamed.
[12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the
same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
[13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Now just what have we found out from the word of God?
1st.
We are all sinners (you included) in
need of a Saviour.
2nd
We must believe in Jesus as the Son Of God
according to the Bible.
a. That Jesus was
born of a Virgin.
b. That he suffered
and gave His life, dieing on the Old Cross as a sacrifice for your sins.
c. That it was a
Pure Blood Atonement and the only sacrifice God will accept.
d. That we must
believe that Jesus rose from dead and is alive in Heaven today.
3rd.
We must Repent of our sins and ask Jesus to forgive us those sins and then
ask Him to come into our hearts and save our soul.
And Now that you have met
Jesus, just what are you going to do with Him?
Pretend you never met Him, sing your little song, and go on your merry
way. Oh! by the way. If you do this and that is your final decision then
your eternal destiny in going to be in
Hell!!!!!
------------OR-----------You
can acknowledge that you are a sinner, repent (meaning to
turn away from) of those sins, and ask Jesus to forgive your sins
and come into you heart and save your soul...
IF
you should do this, and this is your
final decision. THEN YOU ARE HEAVEN BOUND!!! SAVED, BORN AGAIN,
REGENERATED, AND A CHILD OF THE KING
IF YOU TRULY WANT TO BE SAVED AND
ARE SINCERE; WHY NOT PRAY TO JESUS RIGHT NOW?
That's right, you can be saved right there where you
are at. If you are sincere and truly mean it why not pray this simple
prayer.
Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and I am sorry for my sins and I
ask for your forgiveness. I believe in your Son, Jesus, that He was born
of a virgin, suffered and died for my sins, but arose from the grave and
is alive and with you in Heaven right now. I accept you Jesus as my Lord
and Saviour and ask that you save my soul. Seal me with the Holy Spirit.
For I pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen..
If you have made this decision and prayed this prayed, tell someone, and
write to us so that we may rejoice with you. Begin reading you Bible so
you can grow as a new, born again Christian. ( I would recommend that you
start with the Book of John ) Seek out a church which teaches Bible truths
and be baptized into the body of believers to show the world that you are
a Born Again Christian and child of God.
May God Bless You is my Prayer!
