'29' Model A Ford

This little beauty belongs to my song Scott and is being offered for sale on eBay. We have made this page for added information and pictures.

So take a look at the pictures and I hope that you will  enjoy your visit with us...

Here are a few pictures of the little '29' Ford as it was being restored.

And here are three in the progress stages of painting and glamorizing her.

Yea, now she's beginning to look like a little truck should. *smile*

Here are some pictures of the little '29' Ford ready and going down the  road.

These were taken just the other day when Scott brought the little truck from South Carolina and coming up the hill here in Kentucky at the Bar-K-Ranch...

Here are a few close up shots taken just before coming to Kentucky.

Check back as we plan to put on more pictures in the next couple of days.
Thank you

And here are those pictures as promised... *smile*

I hope that you have enjoyed your visit with us.

This '29' Ford Model A

Sold For

$15,500 on eBay

blackcat57 won the bid.

But

After winning the bid and the auction was over, blackcat57 showed up the next day to get the little truck. He decided or said he didn't want the little truck at that price knowing full well he had won the bid for the auction for that price. He knew Scott was in a bind and he offered him considerable less. Of coarse the auction was over then and it would take 2 more weeks to relist, sell, and have the truck picked up so Scott ended up accepting the offer....

I didn't think it was right or an honest way of doing business since blackcat57 won the bid for $15,500 but then I was only an observer...  Yep, Scott was taken advantage of and for sure  took a  beating on this deal. So much for some eBay buyers!

All I can say is that what goes around eventually comes around...

Disclaimer: eBay has little or no control over these type of transactions and can not be held responsible for what folks pull off or try to pull off other than kick them off eBay and close their account... And since a person can't leave a bad feedback for buyers but only for the sellers you can't even tell folks about who to watch out for.

I did want to make this page and inform folks of one of the things to be careful of when dealing on eBay and other bidding sites so you won't get took like Scott did... I will say that most folks are honest and just want to sell or buy things. I don't know how many folks will find this page but I hope that it will help someone to not have this type of thing happen to them...

Anyway, this is in part the write up I had for and on eBay.

Hi Folks,

Here is one sweet oldie 1929 Model A Ford Pickup that will turn heads anywhere you go. I am putting this truck on here for my son who is moving back home to Kentucky from South Carolina. And this is the reason he is even considering selling his little ride. The cost of moving and setting up his concrete business is requiring more than anticipated, so here is going to be a great deal for someone… When Scott gets back here with his last load we’ll try and get a few more pictures put on here for you all.

I will tell you one thing for sure when he pulled up in the drive way (see the Pictures) it sure made for a pretty site and the sun gleaming off that paint job would knock your eyes plum out. *smile* And I noticed when he started it that he just reached inside the window, turned the key and it cranked so easy you hardly even heard the starter turn over and it was running and sounding great. I’ve had several oldies and this one is by far the quickest starting and sharpest little truck I’ve seen in a while, bar none…

After unloading it Scott took it for a ride down the road and it sure sounded so good and it shifted smooth. It has tilt steering, a v6 Olds motor which has new filters, fuel pump, alternator, battery cables and ends, wires and plugs. It also has new Crager wheels and tires. It has an automatic transmission in it and I’m placing some of the restoring pictures on here so you can see that the job was professionally done right and precise. There are a couple of things needed to be done to complete the restoration such as putting the black carpet on the running boards or leave them as they are but all the major things are all completed.

To doll it up a little bit more it could use a chrome grille, and a few minor cosmetics. It has suicide doors which doesn’t require glass. Here are a few things which need to be checked before taking in on a long trip. The radiator has a small leak, brakes are fair, and probably a front end alignment wouldn’t hurt, and the gauges checked, but my son drove it all over Myrtle Beach just like it is. He wanted me to tell you this so there are no surprises…

We would like to invite anyone who wishes to look at the little truck prior to auctions end to contact us and we’ll set up a time, and help get the directions for you to come by and look and kick the tires. Just a thought here: this little 29 Ford, as a V6, is not only an economical ride but a classy one as well. And at today’s gas prices, that for sure is a big plus…
