Greetings Little Flock,

So I thought I might try this and see if we can do it alright. I am going to save and place the pray request sent to me on this page. Mostly, not from groups or group list, but from the more personal ones I get... I feel that this prayer request page may be the answer and beneficial to everyone as we call upon the Lord to meet our needs and pray for one another... And so here are the latest prayer request. I'll hopefully update this page each week. 

Note:
I would like to ask today that you remember these folks who are in need of our prayers. Most are from letters I've received but these first few are family and our personal friends who Connie and I know personally and in need of prayer.

Jr. Haggard (cancer) and wife Sharon and her daughter Michelle, Rick and Tammy's daughter's, Shelley and Renee, Andrea, Elizabeth and Roosevelt, Linda, Bruce Davis, Harold and Norma, Rachel and George, Bev-t-Boo ... Bro. Jim P, Richard, Gladys,  Bro. Eddie Mitchell. Arvell and Estylene, Terecia, Connie's brother, Mike Dossett had part of his foot removed because of sugar and infection setting in, Connie's sister Dorothy Saypack who has cancer but with her high blood pressure has decided not to have the chemo treatments, and Virginia Law.

Update on Patty;  Patty is at home now and doing so much better every day. She is able to get around some with her walker and cane. She has been a real trooper, trusting in Jesus and working so hard to make her hands and feet work and the hard work and prayers are paying off now. Steve ask me to thank all of you who are praying because he knows that God is answering your prayers and it is showing in the results of patty's improvements. Also remember Steve in prayer as he is not in good health either and is so worried over Patty... Thank you for praying.

April 6, 2010

I would ask that you pray for the family of Jim and Carolyn Keeton. Jim lost his aunt Harriet and his other aunt is in the hospital with pneumonia. Also Jim's sister, Brenda Mullens husband Rex was in the West Virginia coal mine tragedy. Not sure yet if he survived or not. 14 families have been notified as of now so the tension is great and it is hard for families to keep up hope. I believe there were 29 miners in the mines when the accident occurred. Please remember all the miners and their families during this most difficult time...

April 7, coal mine update;

Continue to pray for the families of the coal mining accident in West Virginia. Many lost several members in their families.
MONTCOAL, W.Va. – Rescuers held out slim hope Tuesday that four missing coal miners might have survived when a mine repeatedly cited for improperly venting methane gas exploded, killing 25 people in the country's deadliest underground disaster in a quarter-century.

Betty had a doctors visit this morning with her vascular doctor. She x-rayed her left leg behind her knee.

AND, THE BLOOD CLOT IS GONE!!

She will still have to tke cumadin for 2 more weeks as a pre-caution. A step closer for her complete healing. An, it will be 7 months the 7th. of this month since her accident.
Thanks for your prayers, and continue to pray for her.

MY friend's MOM Margaret Coenradi is on oxygen 24 hrs a day. Has had HER Thyroid removed. NOW SHE has Breast Cancer. Drs can't Operate. Cant put HER under!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD BLESS YOU

Jim, I knew that you posted the email about little Noah, so thought you might want the update. Got it on my myspace:

After a long battle with Stage IV Neruorblastoma cancer, Monday morning at 8:02 AM, Noah Biorkman passed away at his home in South Lyon, Michigan.

Scott and I, along with our families, would like to thank everyone for the continued support over the past few years during Noah’s illness. As most of you know, Noah has received more than one million Christmas cards over the past few weeks. The outpouring of love and compassion has been remarkable and we are extremely grateful. We are now asking for everyone please respect our privacy during this very difficult time. The funeral services will be for family only. We are asking that instead of sending cards and flowers to Scott and me; please make a donation in Noah’s name to either of the organizations below. With your donation, Noah’s legacy will live on for many years to come, if not forever.

Prayer partners, this one is for myself.
Tomorrow @ 11:30 I have to see a specialist in uriology cause I have a stone in my kidney, which they would normally blast BUT I have a cyst just outside the same kidney that is bigger than the kidney and my doctor is afraid that if the stone is blasted it may burst the cyst, and cause even more problems.
Please pray the the specialist will have a non invasive solution~~~~~~
And as always I want to thank you all for always being there for all my prayer needs.

Listen please, I am alley, you all prayed for me, and got rid of the demons that tainted my dreams. The lord gave me light and took them away. I am only 12- and need help.

I know that the Lord will help me, or anybody else if we truly need it, and I know somebody who does. Her name is Delaine, she is a friend of mine. She came to the same party as me one evening, in tears. She was trembling so hard, the room seemed to be at nerve as she entered. Nobody else seemed to care, but I did, so I went to her and asked what had done this. And she began to tell me a story I wont soon forget.
She has seen this man; tall, red unkept hair , wearing a somewhat transparent black gradient cloak. She said his face was scarred deeply, with a bad history he had told her, (beaten as a child) She was crying because she had just moved and he had followed her. He comes to her in the day, and night, as a vision and a nightmare. She told me that it scared her so badly that nobody ever believed her, but I did, I have been through this too.
We were sitting outside, at my friends house, on the porch, and it was dark. I was holding her as she was telling me this story and she was crying when I felt a chill, a sudden pain. He was there. I really saw him, glaring down at us. He left quickly, though, as if he didn't know that I was there. I have never seen him again, since then, but this was all too real, too terrifying for me to forget.
I don't want to let him hurt or scare Delaine again, she's a sweet girl, and doesn't deserve it. She needs to forget about him and let the Lord take her hand so that she can move on and start to be happy and protected again. Please I need your help. I ask for you to pray for her, and let Him help renew her life.

Please keep Jason Wilson in your prayers....He had a flu and was running a fever of 107...They took him to Prespeterion Hospital in Pittsburgh...He is in a coma. His sister went tovisit him and found him on the floor.
He is the son of my good friend.

prayers r needed for theresa ivey, she is fighting cancer-----she is a friend of mine & my family----theresa is only n her 40's w/ 2 kids & a husband----- a few years ago theresa developed breast cancer-----she had her breast removed-----w/ in the past year she found out it spread to her breast cavity----last wednesday, theresa & her husband (steve) flew out to oklahoma to a cancer institute to test new treatments-----when they ran test, they found out the cancer had spread throughout her body---- steve came home today for thanksgiving & to give the news to their sons-----both of the boys r heart broken over the news-----especially nicholas (age 10) please pray not only for theresa but for her family-----friday they all plan to fly out to oklahoma to be w/ her-----
