Grace plus 10 Commandments?
Nov. 1, 2009

Greetings Bro. Mike and all who find this Study,

Prayer: May the Holy Spirit guide all who read this study that with understanding we may grow in the word of God, Amen

I would like to explain something for you before we go to your letter of false teachings, Mike, which I may make a study of and put on the 'Letters turned Bible Studies' page.. And I am not offended by your letter and do not wish to offend you, but when 2 disagree there is but one thing to say. Both can be wrong but both can not be correct. And even though I'd rather not disagree with anyone, I have come to realize that with a ministry of this size it is inevitable that at times someone is going to question my teachings and preaching of God's Holy Word. And one thing I can promise and for sure, I'm not afraid to share my letters with anyone nor the results and findings of truth we discover from the gleaning of the King James Version of the Bible...
Romans 1: 16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

[[
power of God 1st Cor 1:18]]

I admit, I am not a scholarly man. I finished my high school with an Army GED and went to college and have only 10 credit hours to my credit. When I became saved and a short time later surrendered to the call of God of the ministry, I truly felt so inadequate and unlearned concerning the Bible and Word of God that it became a hindrance to my ministry. Yes, just a country boy preacher who knew only the love of Jesus in my heart and that He had saved me and called me to preach. That was almost 22 years ago. But then one day the Holy Spirit showed me something that has stuck with this country boy and unlearned, according to man's standards, preacher. and that was:

Read all of chapter 2 to see the full meaning of this;
1 John 2: 18, 20 - 27
18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
Every man is an antichrist, who denies the Person, or any of the offices of Christ; and in denying the Son, he denies the Father also, and has no part in his favour while he rejects his great salvation. Let this prophecy that seducers would rise in the Christian world, keep us from being seduced. The church knows not well who are its true members, and who are not, but thus true Christians were proved, and rendered more watchful and humble. True Christians are anointed ones; their names expresses this: they are anointed with grace, with gifts and spiritual privileges, by the Holy Spirit of grace. The great and most hurtful lies that the father of lies spreads in the world, usually are falsehoods and errors relating to the person of Christ. The unction from the Holy One, alone can keep us from delusions. While we judge favourably of all who trust in Christ as the Divine Saviour, and obey his word, and seek to live in union with them, let us pity and pray for those who deny the Godhead of Christ, or his atonement, and the new-creating work of the Holy Ghost. Let us protest against such antichristian doctrine, and keep from them as much as we may.

27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
The promise God makes, is suitable to his own greatness, power, and goodness; it is eternal life. The Spirit of truth will not lie; and he teaches all things in the present dispensation, all things necessary to our knowledge of God in Christ, and their glory in the gospel. The apostle repeats the kind words, "little children;" which denotes his affection. He would persuade by love. Gospel privileges oblige to gospel duties; and those anointed by the Lord Jesus abide with him. The new spiritual nature is from the Lord Christ. He that is constant to the practice of religion in trying times, shows that he is born from above, from the Lord Christ. Then, let us beware of holding the truth in unrighteousness, remembering that those only are born of God, who bear his holy image, and walk in his most righteous ways.

John 15: 3, 6  (KJV) Christ speaking here in red)

3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

And so Bro. Mike I've said all of that to say this: I may be only a simple country preacher man with simple understandings. I may not be a great philosopher or great teacher of God's precious word according to this lost and ignorant world BUT I do have an unction and anointing from the Holy Spirit of truth, which teaches me all things as I am able to absorb them.

And this much I'll tell you and anyone who buffets my teaching of God's Word backed by the Holy Bible He has left for us who believe, is this. Thank you, because it is humbling to think that the devil is so afraid of God's Word and those who preach it to send false teachers and learned men to buffet and come up against it. But I must tell this first hand: I will not compromise, alter, or back down from what the Holy Spirit has shown me and I will not, by the grace of God, go quietly into the night, but rather, shall boldly take a stand for Jesus Christ and telling it and spreading His Word as it has been given me, to all who cross my path. I'm just simple enough to believe in God, who He is, and the power of His Mighty Word. And to Him who has given me the strength to do this, I praise His Holy Name and surrender to His will... Well Glory!

And now for your letter and my answer. And Mike, I have noticed all the replies with the sweetly put digs each time I sent out a message and even though I didn't reply to you I was wondering how long before you took the plunge. With all the doctrines you're covering in your letter I guess it might be best if I answer it line by line and use these brackets and [[Green Lettering]]...  This may take several days to complete...

================================

Thank you brother Jim  and God bless you  for your prompt and open response.  I appreciate that. [[ You are most welcome but I'm afraid that you may not like my response]]

The Law/Ten Commandments appears to be a dispute in the Christian Church with a "minority" going for it, and "majority" going against it and its getting very interesting. [[There was a dispute in the day when Christ walked this earth also and the majority was against Him in that day as well so actually nothing has truly changed but the numbers of the date on the calendar.]]

I have carefully studies this aspect for the last 6 years to really understand the teachings of Paul on Law, Faith, and Grace and it appears to be quite difficult.   I wish to share with you some "vital"  things I have been noting which Christ taught so I would like you to see this. [[You remind me of Nicodemus; a ruler of the Jews and a scholar but not in  understanding the born again salvation message of Christ.  John 3: 1, 10]

But one thing that helps me to understand  Paul's  inspired teachings was in relation to the treatment he received from the Jewish authorities and then, some hypocritical disciples in the Book Acts that try to get the early Christians to keep those ceremonial laws/fleshly ordinances and laws of foods and drinks. [[And many are doing the same thing today and trying to go to heaven by trusting in the law and not fully in the power of God nor the gospel, (death, burial, and resurrection) of Jesus Christ. They wish to somehow help God out to keep them saved thru the Old Testament law instead of trusting in the power of God and sealing of the soul by that Holy Spirit of promise...]]

The Jewish authorities REFUSED to believe in Jesus as the Son of God (Messiah) and Saviour.  They were more FOCUSED on being saved by the Law/Ten Commandments and NOT Christ , and "Saul" turned Ap Paul was one of them.  [[true]]

It appears that  Christ chose "Saul," being the chief persecutor of Christians as the best candidate to understand salvation that is in Christ Jesus.  Before Christ, it was believing in God the Father and obeying the Ten Commandments (in full). But they could not do well (obey fully) because the Helper (Holy Spirit) was not available to all, except occasionally to appointed prophets to perform specific tasks, then He would withdrew.  [[true]]

When Christ "called" Saul out to preach salvation  in Him, the Holy Spirit opened to him the true understanding that salvation is in no other name but  Jesus  Christ (as bestowed by God the Father - Jn 3.16). He then understood his own errors, that is to be saved by the Law and NOT Christ.  So basing on his error, he had a big challenge to clear up the Jewish Rabbis "deception" of NOT believing in Christ.  So Paul had to correct this deception.  So, I could realise that  he  spoke with emphasis on FAITH and GRACE, but from time to time, he struck a balance; [[ Not sure about the, what balance you talk about here. For Paul never deviated from salvation being thru Jesus Christ by faith and grace... There is a need to read around these refs. you give (in blue) to better understand the meanings]] Rom 2.11-13 [[Read the first 8 verses]], Rom 3.31, [[Read also vs. 26, 31: 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:

30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. Rom 6.1, [[Read the first 5 vs.]]  Rom 6.14-15, [[Read on thru vs 18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.]] 1Corinth 7:19, [[Read on thru vs 23]] and James spoke in harmony, James 1.21-23, James 2:8-10, James 2.21-26. [[ Bottom line here is this; Verse 26  For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.  ]]

I quote partly  what you  (Jim said;

"You are correct in that the Ten Commandments is not necessary for eternal life in that trying to follow them will save a person so that they may have eternal life."

Yes, that was a conclusion I derived from your sharing to me and you have confirmed it  yourself .  Again, this is the view of most Christian Ministers.  However, this belief that the "Ten Commandments is not necessary for   eternal  life" is  in  TOTAL CONTRARY to what the Saviour and Christ Himself taught and this is the most STUNNING Statement of FACT for Eternal Life Christ had ever PLAINLY given during His Ministry on earth;

[[I'm afraid what you are about to do is give verses quoted of what Jesus told the Jews concerning eternal life. But what you are not taking into consideration in most of what you've written below is the fact that Jesus was yet alive and walking and talking in person to the Jewish folks. He knew that they would not understand if He spoke of His death, burial, and resurrection while he was still alive and with them. for even His disciples didn't grasp it when Jesus told them. It wasn't until after the Old Cross and sacrificial event took place that the disciples understood that it was thru a risen Saviour they are saved.

In Mathew 19.16, a  young rich ruler (a Pharisee) asked Jesus what He SHOULD DO to receive ETERNAL LIFE.

Mathew 19.16-17b; “Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good thing  shall I do that I may have eternal life? So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good, but One, that is God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” (This is the answer to his question.) “He said to Him, “which ones?” Jesus said; “You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, your shall not bear false witness, honour your father and your mother, you shall love your neighbour as yourself.”  NKJV.

  What an amazing answer!!  Why did Jesus said that?  Because those who commit SIN will NOT receive eternal life, and the Bible has taught us clearly that SIN is the breaking of the  Law (Ten Commandments )  1John 3.4.  Jesus actually gave five  specific  examples of the Ten Commandments the man was LACKING in.  I have always maintained that John 8.31-32 is the KEY to understanding the Bible (word of God):

[[[ Yes it is an amazing answer but lets keep in touch with what is being said by Christ and read a little further. Christ is not speaking of breaking the law or not receiving eternal life but rather establishing the fact that He, Jesus Christ, IS the promised Messiah come in the flesh. He is talking about looking to the Son of God, meaning Himself, who was before the law. Read closely here and not just the 2 vs. you used.

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.

36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.

And in vs. 58 is the clincher as to what Christ was telling these Jews concerning the law.

56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?

58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am..

Christ is saying here, not the law because 'I AM' was before the law but rather look to the all powerful 'I Am' for your salvation and eternal life. But the Jews could not, as many today can not, accept this saying nor the power of God...]]

Christ knew the life of this man. The very rich man, was obviously are a Jew who faithfully keeps all the first four so Christ had nothing to say of the four.  Christ also did NOT mention of the Tenth (“thou shall not covet…”)  obviously the man being very rich had no need of coveting.   So, in conclusion, Christ has nullified the teachings of man that perverts the inspired and "balanced" teachings of Ap Paul and others.

[[[*** You have missed the boat completely here... Jesus was not yet sacrificed nor had the power of the resurrection taken place yet when Jesus talked to the rich young ruler or even the woman caught in adultery... What would Jesus have said? Believe on my gospel of the gospel? Jesus spoke of things (the Law) which this rich young ruler understood. And this was that following the Old Testament law and animal sacrifice for the repentance of sin was the way to eternal life. Yes. Christ knew of this rich man's greedy nature and sin. So he spoke to him of things, the law,  this rich man understood and knew but knowing full well it would convict the man and that it would be rejected, the same as if He had spoken of Himself and His resurrection power over death and the grave being rejected then as well as even today by those who are still trying to add the Ten Commandment laws for salvation.

*** Yes it was at this time, as Jesus walked this earth as man, that He had to refer to the law because that was what could be understood. But as you mention concerning Paul and the balance? Christ did NOT nullify the teachings of the apostle Paul as you stated above but taught the upcoming event of the gospel about to take place and Paul's teaching confirmed them in his teachings. You need to re-read that first letter, 'Total and Complete Sin Forgiven', I sent you again...  Two (2) laws but only one way to or for salvation.
Romans 8: 1, 5

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.          Please allow this verse to sink in..

3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

And that is the Balance as I see it... ***]]]

This is one of the TWO MOST FUNDAMENTAL teachings of Christ the Christian Church today FAILS to reason out!  They REFUSE to  believe in this KEY teaching that IDENTIFIES the SECOND REQUIREMENT to receive Eternal Life!! In fact they ALWAYS AVOID this very portion for STRANGE reasons only known to Satan and those that refuse to teach it while it EXCELS in the other FUNDAMENTAL  requirement – John 3.16!

[[ Second Requirement? Well all I can say is that for those who seek a second requirement other than repentance, and believing and in faith accepting Christ, His finished work on the cross, and His resurrection, for eternal life in Heaven

(the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus) have truly been duped by the trickery of Satan for sure. And it is strange that you should use John 3; 16 so let's include some surrounding vs. as well and see if the second requirement you speak of is included... Read carefully.

        14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

        15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

        16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

        17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

        18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

        19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

        20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

        21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

No, I do not see the law being included in how to receive everlasting life... Nothing about following the Ten Commandments and believing in Jesus as the requirements of receiving everlasting life. Conclusion: There is but One Way! And that is thru the Blood of Jesus!!! (plus or minus nothing) ]]

This is the very teaching of Christ that will JUDGE many “professed born-again ministers” of the Gospel at the last day;

 “And if any one hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him, for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. He who rejects Me and does not receive My words, that has one who will judge him – the word that I have spoken (a fundamental one being Mat 19.17-19 as quoted) “will judge him in the last day.” John 12.47-48.  NKJV.

[[This I have already cover in the above paragraphs as marked with *** ]

Now, when you combine Jn 3:16 (Faith to Jesus)  + Mat 19:16-19 (Obedience to God's Commandments)  = it gives you the DEFINITE IDENTITY of God's TRUE people (saints);

[[Ok, let's combine these two passages of scripture if we may. The Faith part, Law of the spirit, in John 3: 16 referring to salvation and in Matthew, the Rich young Ruler, story of obedience to the law of the flesh but not salvation. So to be saved we follow the gospel law of the spirit, and to show our faith, in obedience we follow the law, Ten commandments, as best as we can because no human is without sin, lost or saved.

Rev 14:12;  "Here is the patience of the saints "  (God's people),  " here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” NOT FAITH only!!

[[Well, my goodness; Some folks sure do like to jump around the Bible and make is say something it doesn't say or taken completely out of context don't they? You have missed it again, Mike. This passage is referring to those left here on earth after the rapture. You have tried to mix faith with works (commandment laws) for salvation so hard that you are grasping at straws here. Let's take a peek at what is truly being said but in order to do that we must read all the verses pertaining to this verse.

        Revelation 14: 9, 13

        9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

        10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

        11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

        12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

        13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

[[[ I believe this verse is speaking to the saints who are saved during the tribulations period. They are the ones who may have been church members or were misguided, new testament in part, believers and trusting in the law for man as part of their salvation. But when Christ comes for His church they were left behind and realizing their folly they repent and accept Christ as the only way to become born again. And for this they well be killed and beheaded.]

Revelations 20: 4

4. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.  ]]]

And the Final Ch of Rev CONFIRMS ALL!!

Rev 22.14.; Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.”

[[ Let's get all of this passage... It is to the churches. Doing His commandments and following them as a guidelines as to how to live AFTER we are saved but not to be saved or to be kept saved, but doing them as Christians has rights to the tree of life and being able to enter the gates into the city...
Revelations 22: Vs. 8, 16

8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.

9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.]]

[[And a couple more commandments which are new...

John 13:34

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

 1 John 2:8

Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. The darkness referred to as the Old Testament law being past and the true light referring to Christ being present...]]

So, it is an established FACT that Paul, James... the apostles preached the same "language".

What is very clear and plain here is that, the Ten Commandments deals with SIN, when we keep them all, it keeps SIN away from us, thus giving us a sanctified state - Jn 17.17.

[[WHOA! Now you are trying to tell me that you keep all of the Ten Commandments. That means you are sinless. And I thought only Christ lived a sinless life on this God created spinning planet we call earth. As I have explained in the other message letter there ARE TWO LAWS. You nor any other human in the flesh can follow the Ten Commandment laws. period. Only by the law of the Spirit which covers our soul after washing it in the Pure Blood of Christ and seals our souls can the born again believer be sinless. And then his righteous soul is still housed in a sinful body and causes that daily battle which the apostle referred to in Romans 8: 1, 9.]]

 And its Christ who gives us life.  So, the teachings of Christ; "If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments" is a way of DEALING with SIN.  That was the situation with the adulteress.  Christ Forgave her sins, and told her to go and "sin NO MORE" or a worse thing would happen to her, leading to destruction - for the wages of SIN is death.

[[This I have already cover in the above paragraphs as marked with  *** ]

There is a relationship with the "Blood" and "TRUTH" (Word - Ex 20.3-17) which man has FAILED to reason because of the hatred against the Ten Commandments of God.  The BLOOD washes and cleanses us when we act on 1John 1.9, and it is the WORD/TRUTH/Commandments that carry you around in a sanctified state when you keep it.  The Woman was COMMANDED to go and keep OFFENDING commandment, likewise, we all need to KEEP the Ten to keep away from Sin. But if we do sin, we have an Advocator to whom we approach, confess, repent and receive forgiveness, 1Jn 1.8-10, 1Jn 2.1 and goes onto say;

[[[ Ok, Let's read around the vs. you mention: 1 John 1: 1, 10

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. ]]]

 “He who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, he is a LIAR and the truth is NOT in him.”  1John 2.4;

[[[  1 John 2: 1, 2 - 24, 26

1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our's only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

 (a) "propitiation" = an atoning sacrifice for sin - Strongs #2434 "hilasmos".

24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.

Read all if this chapter 2 and you will see that this is dealing with more than the Ten commandments but a new commandment and law, liars and unbelievers. But keep this verse in mind as you reflect upon the above.

Romans 8: 5

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.]]]

This is the Biblical identification for "Wolves in sheep's clothing."

And all liars will have their part in the lake of fire, Rev 21.8.

[[[ please allow me to place all this verse in here for you: "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Looks as though there are more than just liars in this passage. This reflects all who have tried to go to Heaven by trusting in the Ten Commandments for salvation instead of the redeeming power of Jesus Christ...]]]

Another ID for Wolves in sheep's clothing is;

"To the Law and to the Testimony", if they do not speak according to this, it is because there is no light in them." Is 8.20.

So, by teaching in CONTRARY to the teachings of Christ in Mat 19:16-19, 2Jn 9-10 clearly  warns;

 “Whoever transgresses and does NOT abide in the doctrine "  (teachings)  " of Christ does NOT have God.  He who abides in the doctrine of Christ have both the Father and the Son ."

This is  another ID for "Wolf in sheep's clothing."

Acts 17:30-31; Truly these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to REPENT because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained…”  Relate righteousness”  to Ps 119:172; "My tongue shall speak of Your word, for ALL Your commandments are righteousness.  God will certainly judge us according to His Ten Commandments and James 2.12 affirms it; “So speak and do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty.”

[[[Acts 17: 30, 31 in the KJV says: "30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

 31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. You left this part of the verse completely out. And you have tired to connect and join the Old Testament law to " the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." again... But they are separate laws to be referred to as separate laws.

 Well Glory! We are almost finished with this twisting of the scriptural truths into fables and out of text use of God's Holy Word. I guess Mike was upset about now knowing that I'm not going to fall for his misunderstanding of his unscriptural teachings for he has blown the fonts up extra large. (smile) With your permission I'll reduce them to normal after the Final conclusion intro:

Final CONCLUSION:  Christ taught that the Church should keep the   Commandments of God  in  FULL to recieve Eternal Life and any teachings that is CONTRARY to this must be corrected. [[[ Sorry but that statement is only a part truth as I have brought out in both of my replies to your letters. ]]] This Fundamental MISSING teaching in churches must be RESTORED.  Or else, this is the PRINCIPLE reason why Christ will deny many professed born again ministers - Mat 7:21-23 in the last day.

[[[Yes my friend but not only ministers but all who give testimony of knowing Christ but deny the redeeming power of His gospel... Lets read this passage of verses together shall we? I'll add vs. 24, 27 and all the words of Jesus here, OK? And by the way when Jesus said, founded upon a rock in vs.25 He was referring to Himself and not the Ten Commandments as you have suggested... I believe that you fall into the category of the man in vs. 26 and 27...

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. ]]]

I am NOT a deceiver and there is NO grounds to refer me to as one because this will amount to bearing false testimony.  I am only bringing forth the holy scriptures of the teachings of TRUTH and I put none of my knowledge in there.  Satan KNOWS very well that anyone that rejects the commandments will be found guilty on the day of judgment - James 2:10 so he has designed, by PERVERSION of holy scriptures to NULLIFY or make NOTHING the Ten Commandments as NOT necessary for eternal life.

[[[I'm afraid that you have made a mistake in the spelling in the first five words of the above chapter. The words 'am NOT' should have been 'TRULY AM'. For Satan does know but not as you have said, but that he has no power over the child of God who has been born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise. That soul is lost to him and he can not touch it for it belongs to God.

I'd hate to think that I could be lost and saved, lost and saved, lost and saved over and over again. Never knowing if I was going to Heaven or going to Hell because I was trusting in the Ten Commandments instead of the power of the Pure Blood of Christ to save me and keep me saved... How do you bare that in your mind by doubting the power of an Almighty God to keep that which belongs to Him??? Don't you realize that a person is saved by grace and not of works? And if you are trying to get saved or be keep saved by doing anything; church membership, baptism, or even following the Ten Commandments; that those things are considered a work...

And I'm not going to do as you have done all thru this letter and use one or two verses and out of context. Here are not just the 2 vs. normally used but the whole passage of scripture which you believed is wrong by those who quote it.

Not just Ephesians 2: 8, 9 but Ephesians 2: 1, 18

1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Quickened means to be made alive...

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Note that we didn't do good works but were created unto good works... For we are his workmanship, not ours, but His...

11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; All I can say to that verse is, Well Glory!!! That vs. is shouting grounds for sure...

16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: Again,Well Glory!!!

17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

How can anyone deny the saving power and keeping power of God after reading those verses I'll never understand...]]]

Christ has proved ALL WRONG for saying, "You don't require the Ten Commandments to receive eternal life."

Brother Jim, the fact is that you have PERVERTED the holy scriptures and have DECIEVED the flock and yourself being deceived by the devil. You have to repent by the grace of God because you have NO more grounds to defend your errors.  And you have made a grave mistake by blowing out to the flock what was intended to you for your good  - 2Tim 3.16 .

[[[ Blowing out to my flock which God has intrusted to my care? What? You thought you could persuade me to change from Bible truth on the sly, using a perverted version of the Bible as you have and not reveal the truth as the Holy Spirit has given it to me? Grabbing one verse from the Bible and attempting to make it say something untrue or to confirm some fabrication of the mind? WELL, I HAVE NEWS FOR YOU. AS LONG AS GOD GIVES ME STRENGTH AND WISDOM AS GUIDED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT TO DO SO; I'LL SHOUT FROM THE HOUSE TOPS THE SAVING AND KEPT SAVED POWER AND GOSPEL OF CHRIST.

And once again you have grabbed one verse from the Bible. Well here is the passage of scripture for your good... Read it all.

2 Timothy 3: 12, 17

12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. perfect means here to be fully grown or an adult in knowledge.]]]

You could have cooled  down than to fire back  so quick with mocking  because New Jerusalem will always have the Ten Commandments as its Foundational Law - Rev 11:19 because it is a Royal Kingdom and a Kingdom must be governed by Law. God COPIED it to Moses on the stone tablets but the ORIGINAL BLUE PRINT still exist in heaven right NOW  (Rev 11.19)  - the Everlasting Word/Law - Mat 24:35, purposed to be written into the hearts of man and placed in the mind by the Holy Spirit, 2Corin 3.3.

[[ By reading ALL of chapter 3 in 2 Corinthians will perhaps shed some light if you can grasp it in an over all understanding and verses 14, thru 17 dismantles the law theory you are so hung up with and talking about... ]]

If you resist the teachings of Christ, you are going to lose favour with God and fall much backward spiritually into a very dangerous situation;

[[[Perhaps you should read and apply those 2 sentences to your own life.. and while you're at it apply the next part below to yourself as well.]]]

2Thes 2.9-12;

“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did NOT receive the love of the TRUTH  (Jn 17.17-Ps 119.142, Ps 119.151 = Exodus 20.3-17 = Rev 22.14) , that they might be saved.  And for this reason, God will send them strong delusion (foul spirit/spirit of error), that they should believe the lie, that they all maybe condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”   NKJV.

I speak to you as a brother and fellow servant in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.   This is God's grace to you so you are urged to go back to God in fasting and prayer and God will speak to you because He loves you for His great commission you are doing by preaching the Name of Jesus Christ to lost souls.

I pray that the Holy Spirit will help you in this regard.

Thank you

Brother Mike

[[[ Thank you brother Mike for the touching finish to your letter to me. It is a shame that we couldn't agree concerning the power of the Blood Sacrifice of Jesus Christ to save and the complete power of God to keep a person saved once he has become born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit... If only you could get your works out of the way, you could make a wonderful servant for the Lord... All you really need is help in True Bible understanding.

I am sorry for the harshness of this letter to you but I have a tendency to get sort of wound up when it comes to false teachings and teachers...  I truly feel sorry for you because I feel the sincerity of your letter and that you believe this false teaching you are professing. So many years of study and you are still a babe in Christ when it come to understanding. I will pray for you... ]]]

May the Holy Spirit remove the temple veil (Mathew 27: 50, 53)and the scales from your eyes as He did to Saul of Tarsus. For Paul, also a scholar, thought he was serving God as he killed the early Christians. (Acts: 9, 1, 12)... And while you may not be directly killing folks first hand you are sending those folks who listen and believe your false teachings to Hell. And that is sad indeed...

Yours in Christ,
Bro. Jim

PS. After you get over being angry from what I've written, pray the Holy Spirit show you the truth and go from there....

Hebrews 10: 12, 24
12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;  17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

I do pray that this Bible study has been a blessing of greater understanding as we grow in God's word. Amen and Amen!

May the Lord bless you and may the Holy Spirit guide you into all truth,

Yours in Christ,
