wonderful and gracious little flock God has entrusted into my care. Jim

I just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving and thank you because you are a
big blessing to those
you write to. In myself I have notice that I have gotten to read your
e-mails all the time, at first
only a few or maybe not at all, but I love the way you explain things WITH
the Bible.
Like when you responded to Lee's letter that was awesome. I'm so thankful
to God for giving you
the patients and the love for the people to be doing this. You are a great
person that is reaching
God's people one day at a time. Thank you and hope you have a great
Thanksgiving. Take care
of you and many blessings to you and your house whole.
Love,
Candy :o)

Jim,
I'm sitting at my computer working on paperwork that is due in two days.
I just read your thought for the day and wanted to let you know that my
day
will now be made easier because of it! I miss you and Granny and I'm
coming to see you
when school is out!
Lots of love!

Hi Jim. May God bless you my friend. Looked at your thought of the day,
and thought it was wonderful. Would love for you to add me to the email
list. The thought of the day was right
down my alley, and you will never know how it lifted up my spirits. Kinda
like you was
yesterday I guess. hehehehe. Thanks again for your testimony for our Lord
Jesus.

Hi My Brother;
I don't know how many people have written you concerning your thought for
today.
That is why I am writing. To me, it is a Blessing. An e-mail that I look
forward to each day.
I read, I study, I pray not only for the ones you request prayer for, but
also the ones you don't.
I pray for you; that God will continue to bless you and let you continue
to write and witness
to others. Through your thought for today, I have become so much closer to
Jesus. I would like
to say "Thank You" from the depths of my heart and soul. A few days back I
was searching for an answer to a problem.
When I received your thought for
that particular day, the answer I was
searching for was included. I knew what I had to do; I knew what Jesus
wanted me to do.
Yes, God does work in mysterious ways. Through your thought, He sent my
answer.
What an awesome and powerful God we serve. Don't stop writing your thought
for today.
Again, "Thank You" for sharing your knowledge of Jesus with those who
enjoy receiving
The Word of God. May God continue to Bless you and your family.
Your Brother In Christ,
Melvin
I LOVE JESUS

Hi Jim,
Just love your 'Thought for today' and all you send, I'm always blessed by
receiving your mail.
I have made a new page I would like to share called 'Something Better'. I
don't know the author,
but thought it was so beautiful that I wanted to make a page for it.
Listen to the wonderful
wav.file called 'That Name'.

I wanted to stop for a few minutes to Thank You for sending your thoughts
and God to me. I
do not always have time to read all the emails you send, but I do print
them and send them
to my son, who is in prison. He is 30, and has finally been kept still
long enough to hear God
speak to him. He loves it when I send him your emails, and I had to let
you know what a
blessing you have been in mine and my son's life....
MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU,,,,,,
Thank You,,,Joy

Praise The Lord and Pass The Ammunition!
Dear Jim,
Thank you for the WONDERFUL explanation. I thought that when the door was
closed it
was Jesus saying that it is finished, YOU have LOST your SOUL. WHEW! What
a relief.
By the way, my other friends felt what I felt.
I really enjoy your letters and daily Scriptures. They bring much needed
knowledge and
great spiritual comfort to my soul. Keep them coming!
Blessings In His Holy Name,

Jim,
Unlike those others you mentioned, I do read the 'Thought for Today". And
when I miss one,
I get it the next day with the new one. When Dad was so sick and Linda was
here, we missed
a couple, but I did get caught up.. *S* There is always a way..
I really appreciate you taking the time to do the messages, and there are
many days, they are
exactly what I need for the day!!!
God Bless,
Andrea

I had to send this one. I hope you don't mind.
Maybe you can use it to make a page with.
I really enjoyed the letter you sent to Martin.
He will be in my prayers. I pray that he can find Jesus.
A prayer for you, my brother:
Dear Heavenly Father, I ask You to bless my brother so that he can
continue to write and
spread Your Name across the internet. I ask You Dear Heavenly Father to
lay a healing
hand on my brother. Be with him Lord each day for he is such an
encouragement for me
to continue on. He is an inspiration to many who believe in You; Give him
the strength
Oh Heavenly Father to make it through each trying day. I pray Dear
Heavenly Father to
meet my brother in Heaven some sweet day and to kneel at Your feet and
worship You.
I also pray to run a foot race with my brother, and laugh and sing praises
unto You.
Only your Name is worthy to be worshipped and praised.
In Jesus Name,
AMEN
I love you my brother.

Good Morning Jim,
I sent an invitation out to some of my friends and family members and told
them about
your Website and about your 'Daily Thoughts' and devotionals. So you may
have some new names/email address to add to your mailing list for Daily
Thoughts. I told them how much
my husband and I enjoy getting them each day. I went yesterday and visited
your Website again.
I sure enjoyed the music and reading there!

Dear Jim:
I just finished reading this "Thought" again. Since I found you, I have
read
all your Thoughts and I would never delete one, no matter how busy I am.
I find your Scripture selections and your thoughts inspirational and on
many
occasions, comforting. Those unfortunate souls who do delete your pages
just
don''t know what they are missing.

Hi Jim,
Found the error.. LOL Me and my bad typing.
"http://communities.msn.com/appaloosahorses" Try that one. I spelled
communities wrong the first time. I should know by now to check my
spelling
on here. I get so busy doing too many things at one time, and just never
think to check them. This should work fine. Let me know what you think.
Been enjoying the Thouhts for the Day,, even though some of them have
taken
you awhile. The Lord finally gets through and you get it done,, that's the
main thing. RIGHT!! Talk to you later. Cindy Appy Trails Cherokee

Thank you for answering me, I know how busy you must be. I have no idea if
my son is saved
or not. That is sad, but I do know he awaits for anything I send to him to
help teach him more
of our God. I have sent him a Bible that is easy for him to read and
understand. He says he prays everyday and reads his Bible. I Thank God for
you and honesty of your style. I enjoy the ones I
read and I do print up all of them. That way, I have something to read
when I need to know that
my problems are small compared to other people. I. too have to Thank
Melvin for sending you
this way. I have been truly blessed!
May God Keep you on here for a long, long, long time......

Erik( Barnabas) has been sending me your thoughts for the day.. They
have blessed and inspired me....
I have not been online but a few minutes once in awhile since the 1stweek in May, due to illness. I am feeling 50% better. Thanks be to God!! I am looking forward to complete healing.
My mailbox stays full a lot.. having a webtv and being offline. If this
presents a problem to you. I understand, if you would prefer not to add
me. Erik will keep my name on his mailing list but since he now has a
computer, I noticed today that your music is not on there.. maybe that
is just a fluke..
Keep up the good work. God's light shines thru you.

It touches my heart to know that Dorothy was moved by my work. Thank you
for
sending her comments to me but it is I that needs to thank her for
recognizing the talent that God has given Us.

To be compared in your company honored me and made my day. If you would,
thank Dorothy for me.

Hi Jim,

Hi Jim;
I know it is late, or is it early? I so much enjoy your messages.
You don't beat
around the bush. You tell it like the Bible tells it. I will continue to
pray for Martin; and
I hope someday he sees the light before it is too late. The time is
drawing nigh when
our Precious Savior will appear in the Eastern sky. Then it will be to
late for Martin.
You just keep preaching the Word of God; The Bible. I pray that you and I
are standing
side by side when our Precious Savior appears. Please add the music back
to your e-mail.
It means so much to me. Good Night My Brother. may a band of angels watch
over
you and all that is yours. I love you and appreciate you for what you are
teaching me.
I pray that God gives you strength and encouragement to continue on with
"My Thought For Today."
God Bless You My Brother,
Melvin

Thank you for your daily messages. They really keep me going sometimes and
make me
laugh and cry at other times. I will pray for you as always (esp. this
week) and stay safe
in all that rain the weather channel says you are having (or going to
have). I agree with
you about God sending angels down to protect us from ourselves. We had a
really close
call last month. I was visiting our family in Texas for my sister's
graduation - my husband
stayed home to work. At about 10 p.m. he heard a terrible crash that
sounded like someone slammed into our garage (both of our cars were parked
outside in the driveway).
He looked
out the window and saw that a truck that had been parked up on the hill
above us had rolled down backwards and had crashed into the fire hydrant
about 3 feet from where my car was parked. If it had hit, my car would
have smashed sideways into my husband's brand new
work truck that we had just bought. The Lord was surely watching out for
us that night.
Praise the Lord!!
God Bless You!! I'll be praying for your surgery!!

Dear Jim,
Thank you for today's message. I really needed those verses! I know now
that Our Lord and Savior is very much in control of my life and that
through you, He has sent me just what
I needed to hear.
The past week has been a difficult one, that required me to stand for what
I believe and own
up to my own shortcomings. I have been searching all week for scripture to
let me know that
I had done the right thing. This was exactly what I needed, praise God!
I learned today that this past week was where I acted as the faithful
steward and I look to
Jesus to be the judge of my actions. Like Paul says:
[4] For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he
that judgeth me is
the Lord.
Thank you again for the special verses.
Your sister in Christ,
Phyllis Card.

Now you went and made me cry. That is so beautiful. Shame on you for
bringing tears to
these old eyes. I too look in the mirror and see "sin." I am reminded
daily of the sins of my
youth. I could never live long enough to adequately thank almighty God for
giving me (us)
His beloved son Jesus Christ to die an excruciating death on an old rugged
cross for my sins
and the sins of the world. Praise The Lord! Praise Him Fore ever! Shame on
you. I can't stop crying. Blessings in HIS name. Judith

Dear JIM,
I want to just praise God for you!!!!!!!!!!! You are A- OK in my
book!!!!! Thank God there are some men like you left in this world. When
I read your letter, I felt like I was back in the 1940's out in the
little country church where I went, and I heard strong bold preachers
talk like this, andd tell it like it is. Oh! how my heart longs to go
back and be in a church where the preachers were bold enough to tell it
like it really is. You sure did. This ole 70 year old child, of God is so
PROUD OF
YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOU ARE 1OOO% RIGHT.

Jim,
I don't know how I came across your webpage, but I bless the day that I
did You don't
know and won't this side of heaven just what your emails have meant to me.
I won't bore
you with a lot of compliments, but right now I am writing this with tears.
Maybe I just
needed to cry a little and God used your page to help me brim over, but
thank you for
today's msg.
I take it Dianne either is not married or is having a problem in her
marital life. I have 2
girls and 2 boys, and I can relate. It happens whether we are God's kids
or not! Yep, we
pay the consequences of our choices and sometimes the thing that hurts the
most is that
we feel that some of the pain our children go through in their personal
lives are the results
of some of OUR choices along the way!
Thanks again, and keep the sweet spirit. Regards to Connie girl, Dianne
and all.

Jim,
Amen and Amen!!! That was a great letter, right down to the end.. Thank
you so much for sharing it with all, and if there were some believing in
salvation by baptism, hopefully this has explained it.. If not, then they
are not allowing the Holy Spririt to guide them, and are
blind to the truth.. Jim, this is such a great letter..
Sure do wish I could have been close and listened to you as you preached..
You are a great
teacher, a true Christian of the bible... and yes, abiding by the
scripture. Bet you were one of
the very best preachers too!!! Andrea
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jim,
I thank you and encourage you to continue with this. All we as Christians
can do, is spread
the truth, as you said, it's up to others what they do with the knowledge.
It can be sad and discouraging but, you and I both know, that one day we
will be judged before Christ, and
I for one am secure in the fact that spreading His word is what He wants
and expects of us.
We may sometimes feel like "outcasts" and we may sometimes "take some
heat" for what we believe. It won't be us though, that ends up "taking the
heat" for eternity. I thank God for you Jim. (By the way, I'm only 32, and
I am in complete agreement with you, so, it's not an "old-timer" thing!!
Ha Ha)
Love in Christ, Maureen
Dear Jim. sorry you have to deal with such ignorance from someone that
is not truly given his life to the Lord, Let him deal with his ignorance
and you rest in the Lord, and don't stress yourself out with such
stubborn people we can only pray for his rebellious spirit and his
grudge he seems to have on you, You are the most knowledgeable soul I
have ever met and the most Godly, please take care of your self, and
stay stress free my dear friend , love in our Christ, aby
Good Afternoon Jim!
Just wanted to write and let you know that Rick and I have so much enjoyed
each and every one of your emails and letters! They're all wonderful and
interesting and have been such a blessing to us here. Thank you for the
beautiful Christmas email greeting card too!
Those candles that are on the email you sent, are so pretty. I don’t' know
how to do that on an email like that. I'm still learning how to use my
computer here. I haven't been on line in about three weeks now as there's
been so much going on here.
My only daughter Shelley is in the hospital so if you could add her to
your prayer list, I'd sure appreciate it. She's still having such a hard
time about her brother, my son Jeff dying. She saw him die and it has had
a terrible effect on her. She has been Bulemic and has been battling that
disease now. But we think she will pull thru' and be okay. By the Grace of
God. My husband Rick has recently had a mild stroke. The doctor said it
was the stress of Jeff
dying but Rick is better and can move around pretty much as normal, except
that his left side is kinda numb now. He's still working and is handling
the pain from his left side the best he can. Please remember us in your
prayers. As if getting older wasn't bad enough, ha.
All this. This just hasn't been a good year for us. But then again Jim,
it's always a good year because we have Christ living in our hearts! I am
doing fine except for my brand new thyroid problem. Well, the Dr. I went
to gave me some pills to take for it and when I got home, before taking
them, I decided to look them up and be sure the pills were safe. I ended
up throwing them away after finding out that the pills he gave me for my
thyroid were dangerous and for severe heart patients. I called this Doctor
up and asked him if my heart was okay and he said "yes, your heart is
fine, nothing wrong with it" so I asked him why he gave me some dangerous
heart pills. He had no answer. Go figure!! I have gotten to where I don’t
trust too many doctors these days. You have been in our prayers Jim and as
you are a dear brother in Christ to us.
God Bless you and keep the wonderful emails/letters coming! I may not
respond too often, what with all this going on , but we treasure them all.
Your daily thoughts and devotionals are always a blessing to us!
Your friend in Christ always
Tammy B. Young
Jim,
The man who had his feelings hurt and wanted off your list has missed the
blessing. Just like you, I preach the Gospel without compromise and if it
steps on peoples toes I just say "I'm sorry because I was aiming for your
heart." I commend you for not backing off sir. We live in a time today
where more preachers need to stand up in their pulpits and preach with
power instead of with a powder puff.
Amen, Brother Jim, thank you for the wonderful email to L, you are a
blessing to me and look forward to your word on the Lord for I know it
is from the bible and the holy spirit that is in you,, I get feed on it
Lord, God Bless You,, always, aby
I just want say,the last paragraph of your letter to him said it all!
I felt the holy spirit allover me. I forword to your messages
sites from you. God bless you and your family this holy season.
Very well put, Jim..
I have no idea what the person's problem is, because all you send makes
good sense and is from the bible, excluding the jokes.. But there .... is
a time for laughter and dancing even!! And God did not intend this world
to look like a prune with no happiness, smiles and laughter among the
seriousness that we face daily..
I say "well done" Jim.. and God bless you.. Stick with preaching the Word
to others, just as Christ did not quit, do not ever quit. There are too
many out there 'needing the Word'.... Love hearing from you, have since I
met you and so glad we have remained friends through the year.. You have
been a very dear friend, in fact think I was one of the first on your
contacts, and very proud of it. You do a great ministry on here, and I
thank God for giving you the knowledge to get through to so many each day,
and giving you the health and strength to go
on with it.
Christian hugs, to you, a fine Baptist preacher!! and a very fine
Christian friend!!!
Hello,
I know I do not write often, but this letter that was written to you,
well, it hurt me. You see, your words are a comfort to my son(who is in
prison), your thoughts are food for his soul and talking of all the things
that happen around you are a look to the outside and life of someone who
is Blessed. I thank God and You. Please fill my email all you want. I
print it out and send it to my baby in Prison and some of the other
inmates also read them and I can not help but believe that you have
reached more souls than you know. I will pray for this person as they do
not know just how blessed I have been for knowing you through God.
Thank You.........Joy
Thank you so much Jim...you have explained this extremely well!!
This sheds light on something I have wondered about for a long time and
never really got a satisfactory answer to until now.
God Bless you...I am sure every day you put out a "Thought" it is
something someone along the line is going to reap a "nugget" from....I
know I sure do!!
Thanks again, and have a wonderful Lord's Day...
Your Sister in Christ,
Linda
Dear Jim:
THANKS so much for your response to my letter! I made a print copy of your
letter, so I would not lose it (this would be just the time I'd lose a
message when I NEED to keep it!). I appreciate your help, and keeping me
in your personal file until I get things straightened out. I saved your
message in Microsoft word documents also. I think my e-mails are not
reaching
you, because I am using incorrect letters. Once, I sent it "...con", then
"c0 (zero) n". I am sending it now "...con", and praying it reaches you.
If it does, I will promptly write again with a prayer request. Meanwhile,
I will study your notes (after brailling them out on my braille embosser)
and perhaps I will then know what to do.
Thanks again!!!!
I would like to say, that you seem precious. Don’t worry that you are not
able
to visit, because you are doing great work here. You write so beautiful,
you
move people to tears. thank you so much, Beverly Burden
I would love to hear you preach, maybe not five hours but close. I pray
to be that beacon of light, especially to my daughter. she is addicted to
prescription drugs. Then when I am around her, I am very impatient with
her,
and say things, it is so hard. this has been going for so long, she has
used
me and her children to get these drugs, I don’t know what to do for her
except to pray. Lord let me be a light for her. And control my mouth, I am
on
oxygen all of the time so that helps with my breathing.
But what you were talking about sounds real good. God bless you Jim. you
have been such a blessing to me these past months, Alto you don't know me
I kinda feel like I know you and your family, keep us in your prayers
yours
will be in mine, Billie
Brother Jim,
I am praying for this dear family. I know it will be hard on them, but
Jesus
is always near. Thank you for using the song, "Supper Time", with this
prayer request. I have not heard that song in years. My mind is flooded
with memories of times gone by. I think of that small country church we
use to pastor. I still can hear that little choir singing. Some of those
dear saints have been called home ,its supper time. One day soon Jesus is
going to say, Its Suppertime, come on home. Until that day we shall keep
on preaching the BOOK ,the BLOOD, and the BLESSED HOPE until its "SUPPER
TIME"
God Bless my dear brother.
WELCOME BACK!! Been missing you. Been praying for you...We aren't
licked yet, are we?? Old Satan just threw in a snag or two, but we can
whip him, can't we? Be much in prayer for a dear friend and cousin of
mine, Rev. Robert Phillips, known
around here as Bro. Robert. He is in the hospital with cancer and is in
much pain.
He misses not being able to visit the sick and shut ins. No matter if you
weren't a
member of his church he would visit just by knowing of your situation, and
no matter
if it were Evansville, Nashville, Madisonville, or any of the other
hospitals in our area, he'd go if called to go. In my book, few people
would qualify for my saying that!!
Still praying for you........
Bonnie
you all.i will call you before we come to find out how to get
there.i am really getting excited! i can't wait to meet you all. now danny
had told me and phyllis that he was going to try to come down to your
house so we could meet them too.
sick with the flu and now he is off the computer for awhile. i hope he is
Hi Jim,
Glad to see you are back on line. I love your music. I sent a tape to
your uncle Danny Curtis called God's Way to Ultimate Health, and after
reading some of your emails I can tell that you are a prime candidate to
watch this tape and get yourself healed. If you would allow me to have
your home address so that I may send you this tape, I guarantee you will
feel so much better. I also have 2 tapes by Dr Lorraine Day who healed
herself of Cancer. I watched her tapes again last week and forgot how
powerful they are. I want you to keep these tapes and watch them over &
over. Just call me Dr Dena. I get so excited when I find new people to
share this message with.
Love in Jesus,
Dena Garrison
Hi brother Jim,....I didn't want to do it this way, I copied and pasted it
into a new email, too bad it didn't show the picture. Thank you so much
for sending me a personal email letter. I know I have been slack at
emailing, I'm doing a lot of reading, I got this whole set the Left Behind
series books, there are 11 and the last volume #12 is coming out end of
this month, besides reading those books and the Bible, and by the time I
go through all my emails, my eyes don't want to focus any more, but I do
check me email every day, I do really enjoy reading all of yours, I love
to hear about all things at there at the Bar K Ranch, around here we don't
have any Ranch like yours. I read everything with great interest, and
your Thoughts for the Day with all the scripture verses. I thank the good
Lord every day that you're still with us to keep this ministry going, it
sure has been a blessing, and it's so great that He (the Lord) has given
you so many to minister to, it's over 450 you have in your little flock
now.....Jesus is so wonderful...glory to His name..
Sister in Christ, Hilda :-)
Hi Brother Jim!
So nice to hear from you again,...sure missed you and your emails, yes I
was wondering why my mail to you came back, I thought I'd give it a while
in case you just had computer problems again. I guess I should have
called, didn't know that you had burned your face, Praise God that you're
better, you've been in my prayers and thoughts, I must admit that I
haven't been on the computer as much lately, because I've been reading,
these Left Behind series books are interesting though they're fiction but
the prophecies of God's word are true. Yes sure I'll keep Connie's family
in my prayers. God bless you and your family and this ministry of yours.
Love yous all, Hilda
Hi
there, glad to have you back on. I was so worried after all my email came
back. I was afraid something had happen to you or Miss Connie. Finely I
used my ole Okie noggin and rambled thought stuff and found Steve's add.
He had sent out email on your behalf when you were ill. He told me you
were having pc problems. So see even if you didn't wanted to you are
stuck with me. (smile) I pray for you and yours all the time. Many a time
I have really been down and you say just the right thing that day to cheer
me up. I gave my daughter the extra cd you sent me. She has about a 40
min commute to work, she has really enjoyed it (like mother like
daughter).
The weather here today is just beautiful, had lunch on the back patio and
really enjoyed the mocking birds. Clarence is a farmer, he is always
telling me God told him to do this job this way or that. He is so funny ,
we have been married 19 years today. Can you imagine a Holiness marrying a
Catholic who by the way said he would never change his religion.? But God
had other plans for that Portagee. He had a 14 hour surgery 2 years ago to
remove a tumor from his acoustic nerve. It was resting on his brain stem.
When he woke up in ICU he had 3 angels in his room. He now tell the
world about his 3 angels. He had become a christian about 5 years ago, and
really gives God his praise.
Guess I better quit my rambling and just say to you WELCOME BACK May God
be with you and yours. Jackie Dutra
Hi Jim,
Yes, I missed you very much, I am sorry that you had to go through that
with your server, but I thank God for your new server. I also thank God
that you had your glasses on that could been very dangerous for your eyes,
but knowing that you are better that is all that matters! be careful while
you are in the garage. I have been sick for some time, almost as long as
you have been off, but feel better now.
May God be with you all the way.
Mary
Brother Jim, I have prayed for your little flock and my heart goes out to
them all / The ones that have lost or are loosing their infant babies Jim
if you go to the sight Jesus has a rocking chair and read the story about
where these babies go / It is beautiful and helps knowing that Jesus is
holding these children and rocking them. I know the pain / my daughter
lost her 7 month term baby and she was devastated / I read this story to
her and she said it helped / It did not take the pain away for sometime
but the vision of her unborn child in the arms of Jesus Kept her going.
Maybe if you go to the site you can e-mail it to them and it might help. /
You are a blessing to all / I pray that God keeps you healthy so you can
continue with your ministry / you touch so many lives / I live in Ohio and
send your prayer request out so others may pray / May God bless you
Brother Jim / your sister in Christ name / Valerie
Hello Jim, it's been a long time since I've emailed you and you have been
on my mind so I visited your website but your email address did not work
so I went to the Church site and found out why.......
I've been home from work since march 9 with a shattered knee and It has
not been fun!!!!
Anyways I was glad to visit your site and get re-acquainted with you. I
too have had problems with websites, I'm trying to get a new host and that
has proven to be taxful on the mind! Well, guess the Father is trying to
teach me something, and this old mind is being stubborn or just plain not
responding right....although when the teacher gives a test, he doesn't
talk!
Praise God you are fine, when the email was returned my stomach lurched a
little. We need you here to keep us straight! I love you Jimbo,
Oh, by the way I'm Susie Dicus from Harlingen, TX
