Welcome

I'm so happy that you have stopped by to read this beautiful poem written by my dear friend, Janice. I wish to thank my little online friend for her kindness in writing this poem for me and about my horses. I take many pictures from that porch and study window as you will see. *smile*

May God bless all our loving pets and animal friends.

~ God's Horses ~

Many heavy loads you have bore
When you carried men into war
You accepted whatever came your way
As you did your best everyday

You listened to cowboys sing their songs
As they herded cattle along
On dusty trails you walked many miles
And you only got to rest for a little while

You galloped across the movie
and TV screens
Rode by actors reliving old scenes
Some of you we know by name
Because you made it to the Hall of Fame

Medals and ribbons you have won
Because you are number one
Best in rodeo, race and show
But there is one thing I want you to know

Every horse is a winner in my book
Just because of their individual look
It doesn't matter color or breed
All are GOD's horses, beautiful indeed!

More Bar-K-Ranch Pictures

L to R are my son Jimmy riding Rocky, Jack the black lab and trusty friend, and my grandson Will riding Star.

L to R Will on Star and Jimmy on Rocky. Picture above were taken from the end porch and zoomed in. *smile*

Picture taken from the end porch just outside my study window and over looking some of God's beautiful hills of Kentucky. Jimmy is on the tractor and grading the driveway. The trees are glittering from the ice storm the night before, and these pictures just don't do them justice...

Dinner time as the horses gather around what left of a roll of hay.

Ice on the trees and horses soaking up some warm sunshine while munching on a newly placed roll of hay... Picture taken from the back porch and zoomed in. Being disabled I take many pictures from the porches of our house. *smile*

Looking for grass and at the edge of the frozen over pond. Picture taken from the back porch using the zoom.

L to R are son's Eric Scott. Jimmy wife Tammy with the red hat and Connie girl on the right with her back to me.

This is an older picture with Connie girl, me, and
my Ky. State Champion, Rula's Zane Van

I sure do hope that you enjoyed your visit and may you have,

Happy Trails to ride.
