Welcome to the '50' Chevy
Progress Page # 4

Well my goodness, where has the time gone? All winter and still haven't finished the sanding work yet... Did manage to go to the garage and back out the little '50' Chevy and blow off the dust. Even blew the dust out of the garage. 90 degree weather just isn't my cup of tea and I'm afraid I've not done much. I do have JD, a 70 year old friend, of mine who comes over to do the bottom parts of the car for me. He's a little slender fella and goes like mad when he's working. I had to wait on him to cut and bail his hay and get it in for his cows and then this spring 2007, my wife had a heart attack and was in the hospital. Yea, they had to run a balloon and put in two stints bless her heart, But praise God, for He was so good to us and my Connie girl is doing so much better. As a matter of fact she's walking up to a mile a day and that a whole lot better than this ole man can do... *smile*

Anyway, here are some pictures below. I took these pictures so you can see where I'm at and I guess the next set will be after I've finished all I plan to do to the old gal. I guess I'll let some other lucky ole car lover finish her up.  I believe I'll leave the car sealed and black primer and let the next fella paint it what ever color suits them.  So with out further ado here the way she looks at this point in time, the spring of 2007.

Well as you can see the back door and rear fender haven't been completely sanded and I need to finish below the trunk. Still adding a little more bondo and then will have to smooth sand it out.

Yea, had a flat and that's the spare. *smile* This front end is just about ready for the primer. A little sanding and checking for anything I've missed and this part is ready...

Just a couple of pictures of what's finished so far... *smile*

Yea, a couple of more pictures of what's finished so far and of coarse that nosey pup just had to make sure and not get left out of the picture... I believe the word for that Panda Bear is
HAM...
Just has to be in the middle of things. LOL I sure do hope that you've enjoyed looking at this ole man's adventure with this little '50' Chevy. Maybe before long I'll have the finished job so you can see that sometime. Yea, sometimes I do get a little bit accomplished... *smile*
Thank you for coming by for to visit with me. Sure did enjoy having you check what we've done so far.
