Welcome to the '50' Chevy
Progress Page # 1

Yea, your about to witness a transformation, the Lord willing, to this ole '50' Chevy that will amaze you and surprise the dickens out of me... LOL
Just want to thank you for stopping by and I hope that you'll have a great time looking at some of the before and after pictures as we add a little TLC to this  historic peace of automotive wonder... So grab a glass of ice tea, kick off your shoes and jump right into the thrills and spills of glamorizing this ole gal...

1.

Let's start off with a pix of the back floor panels. They are solid
and are ok for the back seat...

2.

As you can see someone laid down a piece of aluminum and screwed it down.
The hole was left for the Master Brake cylinder. This is where you add the
Brake fluid. Yea, the aluminum has got to go... And beside it is the transmission.
That's a pretty hole isn't it? And talk about a hot ride. Whee! Love those fumes. LOL

3.

And yea, This passenger side isn't much better. Looks like a lot of work to me.
Will I ever get it done? Well, we'll see...

4.

Well, here is an over all View of the front Floor pans.

5.

Here's another pix of the fron--- Well I'll be! If it isn't that Panda Bear!
Kinda looks like she's laughin at me doesn't it? There just ain't nothin worse
that a smart aleck pup grinnin from ear to ear.

6.

Holy Cow! What ever happen to the spare tire? Probably fell plum thru that hole.
Hmmm! At least I see some new spring hangers been put on. LOL And if you
look real hard you can see the new gas tank in the hole and on the left side
of the Pix that gas tank is visible thru the rusted out strip. have to be careful
when I go to welding the new metal there for sure... I'm ready to go to Heaven
just not thru the roof of the garage... Yea, we'll be careful.. (smile)

7.

Here is the driver's side of the trunk. Had to cut out the floor to fit in the new gas tank.
Looks like some improvising to keep the new metal floor from rubbing those gas lines.

8.

Here is the overall pix of the trunkkkk? Panda, you nosy pup,
just peeking thru the back seat and grinnin at me, again...
hmmm! Where is that garden hose? I believe I'll wash that smirk
right off that mug of yours, you ornery pup... LOL Yea, she thinks
we're going for a ride again... Gotta have a seat in there first, Panda...
Besides you'd probably fall thru one of the holes and as ornery as you are
We can't have that, can we? No! Just gotta love that little rascal... LOL

Well folks, I guess this is the starting point, So as we repair each of the spots I'll
place finished pictures on the Progress pages... So until I get busy and take update
pictures this is it. (smile) Just check back every few days and I'll see what I can do. OK?
Thanks and I hope that you've enjoyed this little tour of the beginning beautification...
One thing for sure. I can't make it look any worse than it is right now.
Or can I?   LOL Check back and see!
