My Sins are Covered

Good Morning Everyone,

I surly do hope that your Friday is going great for you and that your looking forward to a wonderful weekend. Well, we survived another birthday yesterday. Boy did I have a terrific day. Connie girl made me my favorite desert, Pumpkin pie and I received some great presents, several phone calls and lots of great cards (some by snail mail and many from you all. I am so thankful and praise God for giving me another year to be His servant.

Jimmy was my chauffer and we left after lunch for Bowling Green to Radio Shack and I got a RCA Stereo Radio with five disk CD player. Had to rest on the benches a few times but made it just fine. We then stopped by the music store and Jimmy bought me a guitar stand and then took me to Eric’s to visit. My little 3 year old grand daughter sang happy birthday for me (several times) and then Jimmy took me to Capt. D’s for a fish supper.

We then stopped by the tractor place and I drove this 5610 Ford Tractor that I have had my eye on for awhile.. New paint, new tires and only 2500 hours on it. I believe it would make a great addition for the Bar-K-Ranch since I sold the 175 Massey this summer.. For those of you who are new, my doctor has restricted me from driving. (smile) Jimmy and I didn’t get home until around 8:30pm. When we came in Connie said I had a package come in the mail. It was from a lady on my e-mail list, Mary in Wisconsin, and she had sent me some lovely gifts.. Jimmy helped me set up the new radio and I sat up until after 2am listening to gospel music.. Well Glory!

Psalms 32; 1, 3 -- 10, 11
[1] Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
[2] Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
[3] When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

[10] Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
[11] Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

I am so thankful that my transgressions have been forgiven and that my sins are covered. And what a thrill to know that I am a child of the King, saved by His grace and kept by His power. Aren’t you? Or do you have trouble making this statement? You see, the sins which we as Christians and saved children of God commit have been imputed. I looked this word up in the dictionary and it states; tr.v., -put•ed, -put•ing, -putes. To relate to a particular cause or source; attribute the fault or responsibility to: To assign as a characteristic; credit:

In other words, as we talk and pray to God each day, we ask Him to forgive us our sins. This is not to be saved over again but to keep us in a close relationship with Him and our daily sins are not accounted against us. For Jesus took all of our sins upon himself when He shed His Pure Blood at Calvary and we are not attributed with them or responsible for them. They have been assigned to Jesus and we have been set free from them. Well Glory! And this is why I am so happy this morning and every morning.

Everyone of us have our valleys to go thru, our bad days when things seem to just go wrong, our mountains to climb but even tough we are in a daily struggle, it is God who lift’s our spirit and puts a song in our hearts. We may get knocked down occasionally but then the Holy Spirit burst forth from down deep in our soul and lifts us up and puts joy back into hearts. Are you in a struggle today? If so, lift you eyes to Heaven and praise God. Rejoice, for the love of Jesus lives which is instilled in your heart, and shout for joy. For we are not as the lost souls in this world with no hope but children of God. Lift high your voice to heaven and sing. And remember, God doesn’t listen to whether your on key or not. He listens to your heart... Just sing! Well Glory!
